If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

The tour starts from the interesting Central market zone, characterized by its workshops and multicoloured stalls where the Medicean Chapels and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, the church of Medici's Family, are located.

In a short time you can reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the Cathedral (inside visit) and its dome by Brunelleschi, the bell tower by Giotto and Saint John Baptistery with its Paradise Door. The tour continues by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived. Further on you can find Palazzo del Bargello...and more!

Not too far away is Piazza della Signoria, a great "open-air sculpture museum" overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Next to it is the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museums in the world.

Then you will proceed to the picturesque Mercato della Paglia (Straw market), where the famous Piggy Fountain is located. You will walk along the street that leads to Ponte Vecchio, the "jewels bridge." By crossing the bridge, you will reach the wonderful Pitti Palace, where the tour ends.

~ Cathedral cannot be visited on National Holidays and for any other reasons beyond our control.

~ From November through April, this tour requires a total of 8 participants to be guaranteed to depart. From May through October, the minimum to guarantee departure is 2 participants. You will be provided a phone number on your E-Ticket to call the day before your tour to check on the status of your tour. If the tour is canceled due to not meeting the minimum, you will have the option of rescheduling for another date or receiving a full refund.
